DR. JAMAL KHAN
Pain Management Physician

Dr. Jamal Khan is a native Long Islander and has completed most of his medical training on the island. He earned his medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. After medical school, he completed an internship year at Northwell Health Plainview Hospital. He completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He then went on to complete an ACGME-accredited pain medicine fellowship at the University of Minnesota.

 

Dr. Khan developed a passion for pain medicine early in his medical training, which has been reflected in his academic pursuits. He has presented at numerous local and national conferences on pain medicine and rehabilitation medicine. He has also lent his expertise to Sirius XM’s “Doctor Radio” as a guest speaker discussing various rehabilitation topics.

 

Dr. Khan has a pain management philosophy that centers on the patient. He employs a multifaceted approach to pain management that utilizes medications, therapies, and interventional procedures. His goal is to reduce pain and suffering in his patient population and in serving the Long Island community.
